  • bates bldgAlbia's Historic Town Square - Town Square Walking Tour Brochure available at the AACC, 118 South Main, Albia.
  • First Iowa State Bank - restored to its original splendor, lavishly decorated in Victorian antiques. Reservations required 641-932-2144 or 641-932-3319.
  • Robert T. Bates Apartment - (Albia's benefactor who made the restoration of the First Iowa State Bank possible). Tour this turn of the century apartment left exactly as when Robert Bates lived in it. Filled with priceless antiques and collectibles from all over the world. Northwest corner of Court House Square. Free but Reservations required 641-932-3319. — Albia Restoration Days held the 4th weekend of each August.
