- Robert T. Bates Apartment - (Albia's benefactor who made the restoration of the First Iowa State Bank possible). Tour this turn of the century apartment left exactly as when Robert Bates lived in it. Filled with priceless antiques and collectibles from all over the world. Northwest corner of Court House Square. Free but Reservations required 641-932-3319. — Albia Restoration Days held the 4th weekend of each August.
